Green-sensitive

Bonus Fun Fact: On the spectrum of colors, the human eye is most sensitive to green. As in, human sight can detect more shades of green than any other color.

I learned this while in the car with Michelle after she randomly asked “how does night vision work, and why is it green?” Setting aside the electronic wizardry that makes it work, night vision is colored green in large part due to the human eye being highly receptive to that color.

I was going to write something about our recent vacation to Colorado but, instead, I learned this today and I really liked it. You’ll have to wait until next time to hear about our trip.
