I’ve touched on opossums before, and how many teeth they have, but how many teets do they have? You probably never wondered such a thing and, honestly, neither did I. However, my wife (the biggest opossum fan I know) shared this fact with me earlier this week…
Bonus Fun Fact: Opossums have 13 teets. Thirteen of them. That is approximately 6 and a half times as many as humans, in case you didn’t know. What’s more, they are arranged with 12 of them in something like a circle, with one in the center. I urge you to just take my word for it and not do an image search for it — it’s not something you’ll be able to unsee. The opossum, our only local marsupial, continues to amaze!
