Bonus Fun Fact: If you look at deaths caused by animals in the United States, deer are by far the most deadly. These cute, ear-flicking whitetails are responsible for an astonishing 1.3 million car accidents, causing about 200 fatalities each year. Incidentally, the deer breeding season runs from October through January and its during this time that they are particularly active and wily, more so around sunrise and sunset. Drive safe out there!
