Bonus Fun Fact: Peak leaf color in southwest Iowa is the end of October through the first two weeks of November. If you have a chance, get outside and behold mother nature’s glory! My favorite spots are Hitchcock Nature Center in Pottawattamie County or, if you have time for a drive, Indian Cave State Park in Nebraska, just south of Nebraska City.
