Tastes like chicken

Bonus Fun Fact: Alligator really does taste like chicken. Well, I would say the flavor is a blend of chicken and pork, and the texture is very chicken-like as well. On my afternoon off last Friday, I had the opportunity to stop by an alligator cookout and sample some. Sometimes the rumors are true — alligator is like very expensive chicken!

I don’t usually support the posting pictures of dead animals, but in this case I’ll make an exception. The poor and unfortunate alligator in question turned into a tray of smoked meats.
