On the common cold

Bonus fun fact: Because I was sick again this week, your bonus fun fact will be on the common cold. Did you know it takes 1-3 days after exposure for symptoms to start showing up? So, when you get sick, think back to who you were around during that time, and blame them. On that note, the common cold virus is most easily spread to others during the first 3-4 days of being sick, but it can be transmitted for 10 or more days. The best way to prevent the spread of the cold is to simply avoid being around other people. If you can’t do that, be sure to cover your cough and wash your hands frequently to minimize the exposure of others.
